Before I start this topic, I tell myself, have I ever been in a situation in international trade where a customer didn't respect me? Unfortunately, the answer is "yes."
It is well known that communication is the most important issue in international trade because of time differences. Many times it's already the end of the day here in China, but Europe and America are just starting to work.So many times there is a delay in communication.
The Turkish client I used to work with, often disrespected my personal time and called me during my breaks from work with a very rude and arrogant attitude. In his opinion I should have no rest, and should serve him alone 24 hours a day. But at that time I served five clients from the USA, Germany, Spain, Slovenia and Australia. We were very happy to work with clients from other countries, but this Turkish client often overworked me. (I would like to say here that I am not discriminating against any country, I am simply angry at this disrespectful behavior)
I have tried to communicate with him about this issue, but I was disappointed with the answer I got from him. So, in the end, communication was fruitless and I referred this client to another company and even though this client was able to bring me a better profit for the year, we never work with people who don't respect me. Like I said, any business needs to be done with respect!
I know there are many trading companies in China that will agree to many of the customer's requests beyond the order, if it is reasonable we will do it, but we will never agree to something that is unreasonable.
We've had clients threaten to refuse to do business with us if we don't do what he wants, but our attitude towards such clients is, OK LET US STOP IT TOGETHER !!!
Finally, I would like to say that we welcome customers from all countries to work with us, as an sourcing company and promotional supplier we have a very strong supply chain and all kinds of factory resources, (also we can be your dropshipping agent )whether it is a custom large or small order, we are very welcome! But only if you respect our work and our efforts.
